160 TURNS?!? A 100mi Crit Race On GRAVEL! (Dust Bowl 100)

The dustbowl 100 is when Crit racing meets gravel, and 500 hitters rip around 160 turns in the middle of Indiana. In this race breakdown video, Tyler "VC Aventures" Pearce explains the benefits of using TT bars on a gravel bike or as some will call them, cheater, sticks, Talk about tire pressure and tire width, and breakdown how he was able to get top 20-ish in a stacked and very fast gravel race.

Gravel racing is where you race a bicycle on off-road non-paved dirt roads. Depending on where you are in the country, the surface varies from hard packed dirt to loose gravel to mountain bike trails. The dust 100 has virtually zero climbs and is very flat but has 160 turns, that made for some great racing and he walks you through his entire experience while holding a Gopro in his mouth.
